The sky up above the city streets of Forks was pitch black in color, illuminated only by the tiny dots of light created by the stars, and the moon that cast down an eerie dull light upon the ground. The streets were almost empty, except for the few store owners who were in the process of closing up their stores, and a group of young women who had probably just returned from a night out in the clubs. Lurking in the shadows of the many shops that dotted the streets was a young boy with beautiful blonde hair and bright glowing red eyes. This toddler was none other than the immortal child by the name of Adam James Winston. On this cold windy night, Adam was without his loyal dog Sarah who usually accompanied him everywhere he went. But on a night such as this, when hunger gripped his mind and dried out his throat, it was best the golden Labrador stayed in the forest outside the Cullen house.
The blonde boy peeked from behind the building at the group of young women, and smiled. His teeth gleamed wildly in the dark along with the portions of his skin that was touched by the moonlight. He could feel the thirst growing even more, and could suppress it no more. With a small giggle, Adam stepped out from behind the building and onto the streets in front of the group of women. The group was made up of about five or so females who all reeked of expensive perfume. When the first women set eyes on the sparkling young boy, a hand went up to her mouth to suppress a gasp as she got down to eye level with Adam and called him to her. ”Hey little guy, what are you doing out here all by yourself? The girl’s arms were wide open, a sign for him to come into them. Too bad that isn’t what the young vampire had in mind.
Adam did not even bother to put on a show for the woman. He dashed forward with lightning quick speed and grabbed the woman with his tiny hands, opening his mouth in preparation to receive his next meal. [/blockquote][/color]

Lucas Taylor of the Vampires
A tall figure turned the corner to see a bunch of girls standing around, as if waiting for something. Curiousity hit him like he was smacked across his pale face. Flicker of childish nature appeared in his blood red eyes. His blond hair waved in the little wind, making him look absolutly spectacular. But his cover was already being messed up by another good looking guy. Cursing under his breath, Lucas walked on, holding his breath.
One of the girls went up, as if to help him. But he was taking quick action not to offer to her help. Lucas made a small smirk, feeling childish mystery in his look. "Oh, well that wasn't very nice!" He teased, swinging himself around, trying hard to ignore the scent of the blood. "She offers to help and you make a meal out of her."

Adam, at this point, had already had the neck of this human girl in his small mouth, and was taking no time at all to sink his teeth in and drink all of her blood. Once his teeth punctured the paper thin skin, he began to drink the warm red liqued that proceded to gush out. itt only took him a matter of seconds to completely consume his midnight meal. The boy dropped the lifeless body of the woman and looked up to the new figure that had approached him. "Nice?" he asked wiping his blood covered face. He had never bothered with manners, especially when he was feeding.
"You don't look ver nice either. The toddler stated simply. This ofcourse was a reference to the man's red eyes. Although Adam had the personality and tendancies of a boy who looked his age, the seemingly young vampire had the knowledge of over one hundred years under his tiny belt. [/blockquote]

Lucas really didn't of anything about the age. He had never dealt with the Volturi before, and didn't really plan on it. But while he was here, why not have a little fun? Lucas found that he could easily lie, as long as Aro didn't touch him. He heard of the Volturi many times, which made it all that scary, but he wasn't as scared as most. He never did anything wrong. And would you get killed for witnessing it? Or for not turning it in? He wasn't sure about that, but he didn't think so.
"Ah, but I'm in the shape of a four year old." He said, frankly, laying down. The taste of blood recked in the vampire child's breath. Lucas' throat tightened, but didn't come out of control. He was pretty old, but not old enough to be completely stabled. It was hard during these times. His eyes started to turn a little black around the rims of his red eyes.
